Mealtime Resources

Over the last 10 years as an Occupational Therapist, I've worked with many families and kiddos on how to eat. Mealtimes are such an important part of bonding as a family, and when a child has difficulty chewing, swallowing, or eating, this has a significant negative impact on the family's stress level.

One part of my job when a child starts eating more, is helping the family understand what a serving size actually looks like for a young child. I never had a high-quality resource that would help parents and myself alike, both see what a typical amount of food a young child should be eating, and a resource of a wide variety of foods to try. Until I stumbled upon this website a few weeks ago.

This is a phenomenal resource for a true visual on what a serving size looks like for a young child for each of the food groups and shows a wide variety of foods that you can try with your young kids.
